I recieved a "prize distribution statement" in the mail requesting that I call 1-800-235-3640 to verify my address to be eligible for the 1,100, 000.00 prize drawing by April 19. I decided to check out the company before making the call and found the complaints on this site. I followed up by contacting the Better Business Bureau to check out the sponsor, National Magazine Exchange, in Largo Florida. Neither the Sweepstakes nor the sponsor were found to exist. I also did a general searh on Google and found nothing but complaints.
Pass this on, shred your entry, do not give out your credit card information to these scammers.
