Violation of Egg Policy at HEB

Burleson Store - 6 pm 4/1 - I told a manager in the back that I needed 25 dozen eggs for an Easter breakfast at church. He told me that's fine. Limit three but I could just go through multiple lines with three at a time. So My five year old, husband and I did that. On our last three dozen, a front end supervisor (Jessica C) came to the line we were about to check out in and took our eggs and told us we need to leave the line and come talk to management up front. She could not get a manager at first and told me this was an issue she could not handle and that top level management had to be involved. She proceeded to interrogate me about why I needed so many eggs and what I was using them for. She instructed my it was a strict egg policy at HEB. I told her I spoke with manager and he told me to do it the way I did. She told me I should have walked out of the store to my car each time and then walked back in. The Top Level manager came and backed up the front end sup. Also, my son cannot buy three dozen on his own because he is not considered a customer. He is part of a family unit. So I was not allowed to purchase the last of the eggs I needed. I guess HEB is egg-nostic. Sad. I purchased the remainder of the eggs I needed at ALDI where my son is considered a customer too.

Due to the public nature of pulling myself and my child out of check out line like a criminal, I was embarrassed and humiliated and also browbeaten by the front end supervisor when she interrogated me about the egg purchase in front of other customers.

I informed the staff I was going viral to the FB, Twitter, all over the internet, I will continue to do so until I get an apology from HEB.
