Unauthorized debit transaction

I found a unauthorized debit transaction from AVATNET.net for 44.60. It was a debit not a credit transaction. I called the number showing on my online bank statement and received a answering maching stating they do not take calls and to go to their website. I called my bank and let them know. They are happy to reverse the charges but I wonder how many people have missed this in their bank accounts because its such a small amount.
