Miscellaneous

It's a SCAM... I received a "prize" Letter March 22. Says they sent me a first letter (Jan 22,12) informing me I was a prize winner of their quarterly $250,000. Drawn from many sweepstakes & lottery databases worldwide, including North America. I was selected a prize winner Dec. 11. They say my lucky lot number was drawn in Australia, they give the numbers. They give a UK phone # and two names. They instruct to keep this winning information confidential until my claims have been fully processed. They say the "Clearance Fee" will be deducted from my bank account, winnings to be a certified check or direct bank transfer into my account. Once the "fee" is paid. Names of notifiers: Pete Buckfield or Angela Morrison.
*Sounds like a scam to me. One must contact the UK, London phone # 011-44-798-224-6893 within 14 days of the Letter's date. (It took 6 days to reach me!)
The procedure and notification is very un-professional, and highly questionable.
Catch these scoundrels. Thank you.
