I applied for a debt consolidation loan. The company - Oakdene Financial Group, has their representative Will Jenson call and tell me I was approved for the loan but was required to purchase loan protection insurance. I agreed, and arranged to make payment for the insurance. I was sent the loan docs to sign and send back. The loan documents were signed by a William Rollin. They told me my advisor for the loan insurance was Cassie Morrisson with Longhorn Insurance who was apparently located in Ajax, Ontario. The money was to be sent to her attention. Once she received it she would notify Will and he would have the funds of the loan released into my personal bank account.

The funds for the loan never arrived and now the company no longer will answer my phone calls or emails. A few days later I had found out from my banking institution that my bank accounts were being closed and they wanted to know the reason. This came as a surprise to me because I was not the ones closing them. Needless to say, it has been a giant mess opening new accounts and explaining to people this humiliating story. DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.

I also did some calling around after. The building were their office is suppose to be located; none of the tenants in other businesses in the building have every seen this business exist there.
