Miscellaneous

I also received a check in the amount of $2400.00 today. Luckily I always research and investigate these weird things. People don't just send you large amounts of money out of the blue. It almost looked real and the money is desperately needed, so I almost didn't check this out first. Anyway, I called and spoke to some lady I could barely hear. She actually told me to wait till the check cleared then call her back and she'd give me the information I needed to send the W Union stuff. Luckily, I made copies of everything just in case, but I decided to look them up and that's how I got here. I didn't do anything with the check, thank god. Can't figure out how they got my address and other info, though my last name wasn't correct. I was trying to figure out a way to get these people at their own game. Open an account, cash check, close account. Ha, would that work? Or physically go to their bank, (which probably doesn't exist), A million miles from here. I could've used that money. How can they prey on people like that, get their hopes up then break them. How do they sleep at night?
