Email From A Friend Of Mine

Miscellaneous

I received an email from a friend of mine I haven't talked to or seen for years. He wrote that he needed money because he was robbed in London and lost all cash and credit cards and needed a Western Union transfer. He wrote in his email that the hotel would not release him unless he paid. I suspected that this was a scam and asked him in an email to decribe me, what business we both worked at and other info. I did not get that info, except that he was frantic for the money because otherwise he would miss his flight. I thought that he would have probably given the hotel his credit card info when he first checked in. The thing that troubles me is that the scammer got my friend's email password in order to email me. I am very grateful for this website because it confirms that this is a scam. I hope we get this jackass scammer.
