Miscellaneous

My 80 year old father was approached in his front yard late this afternoon by two young men who said they were baseball players for the local college. They convinced him to write a check for $177.00 for magazines for Wounded Warriors through Absolute Marketing. My mother called me about it very upset because she was sure it was a scam. I looked it up and found 30 other similar reports. We have called the police and I am contacting local tv stations. This is outrageous and I will not let it go. My dad is a veteran and played baseball for the local college so was easily taken advantage of. He is going to put a stop payment on the check Monday morning.
