I was searching the web looking for work to do at home. I tend to be depressed and I thought this would work well for me. It was late at night (like 1-2 AM) when I decided to do this. I thought I didn't need to go out of my house to do this. They promised to give me a website (which they did) and someone to help me as a mentor. I called and called and never got any calls back from him. When I called to cancel this work, I got a call back within hours or the next day. They didn't want to see me go. My other mentor was out with pneumonia. This last call was made on Dec. 18. Another man said he would be my mentor. I told him I didn't want to do this anymore. He asked if I had watched the videos. I hadn't so I went to the site and watched what they had finished. I called back again saying I didn't want to do this and I wanted my money back. He asked if I would give it 30 days more. If I didn't get any customers, they would refund me. He suggested I put a big ad in the paper and people would go to my website. I said I didn't have that kind of money. He appeared to be disgusted with me after that in the way he talked with me. I asked for a refund after that. We ended by saying I would try it for thirty days. I had my credit card follow up to see if they could get my money back. I received a call today that they will not refund my money. Any time I try to call, I get a voice mail and no return call. I am really disgusted with them and with myself. I don't make those kinds of decisions at night anymore. I wait until morning. If it sounds good then, I will do it. Had I waited until morning on this one, I would not have done it. Who is going to change their credit card system during the holidays? I received a call from someone this past week asking if I wanted to do work at home. I said no because of a bad experience - meaning this one. She asked the question again - and now I wonder if it wasn't from them so they could respond to the credit card with a negative response.
