Miscellaneous

Received pop-up that said that my PC no longer had virus protection. It had been about a year since the PC and initial anti-virus package was purchased. The pop-up indicated "Win 7 Home Security 2012", which made it appear legitimate, so I purchased the "Lifetime" subscription for $79.95 on my credit card. Out of that I did get a download of what appeared to be McAfee Virus Scan. When it ran, it showed no viruses. Three months later I received another pop-up stating that I needed to renew my McAfee subscription. I called McAfee Customer Service and they said they had no record of my account. My credit card statement shows the payment went to VideoCaverPro.com.
