I wasn't searching for a dating site, but their ad popped up while I was on the internet and I was enticed in by the "free", then found to go much further i needed to join - $5 for a one month trial, then after a month they would automatically join me for full price. About a week before the month was up i decided I wasn't getting any good matches with them, so i sent an email requesting cancellation of membership and to remove my profile. My profile was removed and I forgot about it, until checking my bank statement and found that exactly one month after joining, they had taken $234 from my account. I sent an email saying I had not requested/authorised this, I do not want a membership, and i want my money refunded. They replied, saying I should have read terms and conditions, and i cant cancel by email, I have to send a signed letter.
