Franklin Marketing Scammed by Franklin Financial Solutions

My 86 year old mother received a phone call from a representative of Franklin Financial Solutions who asked her if she would like to make "extra money making phone calls". She said that the individual explained to her that she would simply have to make phone calls for their company. They indicated to her that she would have to pay for training and training information package in the amount of $195. This occurred in December. Upon review of the information she received in the mail she immediately noticed that an invoiced was enclosed marked paid for $195 for the purchase of a website. My mother never authorized a purchase for a website. She admits that she does not even know what a website is.

She also received another invoice for $17,000, which was the total open line of credit she had on two credit cards. One of those credit cards was never provided to Franklin Financial Solutions. All charges where charged by Franklin Marketing as the merchant as to the credit card charges. These charges were never authorized. The $17,000 was for the alleged purchase of what Franklin Financial Solutions referred to as "Business Lead Packages", whatever they may be. Franklin Financial refused to refund the money. A dispute was filed with the credit card companies immediately.in addition, a complaint was filed with local law enforcement, Federal Trade Commission, Michigan Attorney General and I have made contact with US Secret Service. Franklin Financial did finally refund the $195 after they received contact from the Michigan Attorney General Office. However, no refund has been received regarding the $17,000. The matter is in dispute with the credit card companies.

This company uses at least three addresses. Two in Wyoming and one in Arizona. Don't believe a word that this company tells you. They just want to ripe you off.
