Miscellaneous

I got a call for a survey asking 3 questions and in doing so I would win a free cruise for 2 to the bahamas. The catch at the end was that it will cost me 118$ for taxes to leave the country. Now I just learned that it is against FTC regulations for Legitimate sweepstakes to require you to pay or buy something to enter or improve your chances of winning, or to pay "taxes" or "shipping and handling charges" to get your prize. If you have to pay to receive your "prize, " it’s not a prize at all."

A real company will never make you pay $118 to get your prize - that's against the law.
