Company called saying the company was contacting registered microsoft computers and my computer had error messages. He then walked me through the computer and showed error messages and warning messages that were very bad and they were the kind of errors that could not be caught by avg. He then installed software "advanced windows software" that was to clean it up. Now they tell me about prices for the software ranging from $70.00 to $200.00. I tell them no i will not pay that and they should have brought the cost up in the beginning. They are me what i would pay and told them $10.00 we go round and round then they agree to the $10.00. We go through the payment process. The banker gets on and asks me to verify the transaction of $70.00 and i tell him no we go back and forth. He tells me he will start fixing my computer but after a few minutes he hangs up. Nothing happened from that point.
I have filed a complaint with visa.
