48 hours ago, I ordered a complete pair of prescription eyeglasses from Opticsfast.com. Today, I received an email that the frames are discontinued. They've apparently searched high and low and can't find another pair of these frames. They asked if I would like a different pair of glasses.

I said that I did not want a different pair and that I would like a refund. They said they would refund me for the frames, but would still charge me for the lenses and would ship me the uncut lenses to use in the future. I said that this is not acceptable - I ordered a complete pair of glasses and if they can't fulfill my order as I ordered it, it is not acceptable to send me a portion of the order and charge me for a portion of it. My order was for a complete pair of eyeglasses, not an order for lenses alone.

We have gone back and forth several times on this point today and they (Becky S. And Crystal) continue to try to get me to give up my request for a refund. They will not confirm that they will refund my money. So now I'm going to have to dispute the charge on my credit card. And I'm going to do my best to make sure that everyone else considering ordering from Opticsfast knows about this.
