The date has been back a few years ago I just gave up after getting a total run around from both Bass Pro Shop and Ol Town Canoe. I purchased the canoe at Bass Pro Shop in Springfield Mo. While traveling. I live 3 states away in Urbana, Ohio. I have complained to both Bass Pro and Ol Town Canoe and got a complete run around from both places. My problem is when I purchased the canoe I recieved no instruction verabal or in writing on the care of this canoe thinking it was maintenance free so I did nothing to the canoe but enjoy it. It is made of some kind of rubberized plastic material with supposily UV protection. I stored it turned over, bottom side up outside. Not using it for a few years and not noticing that the sun was damaging the bottom till it was too late. The sun dried out the bottom and caused very bad cracking in the matieral that it is now too bad to fix, the floor is rotten. I would have gladly done whatever my instructions would have told me to do for maintenance if i had recieved them but I didn't. I still have the canoe but it is no good to me. I would really like to get this resolved. I purchased Ol Town Canoe based on all the good things I heard about their products including durability which is a joke. Can you please help me?
