James Leroy Cannon wanted to adopt a baby boy that was abandoned at a church. We were married for 23 years and had 2 grown children. Now we are divorced due to his Alcohol/drug abuse. I could not let the baby or myself be beat on, so I had to leave. He works as a Block Mason. Owes us over $20,000 in child support/alimony.

I feel for the baby, because he was use to getting new clothes, toys, a little happy meal. Now, I am unable to get him anything. I am unable to work due to needing back surgery. Still trying to find a Surgeon to fix back for me so I can get to work. I have 2 herniated discs in my low back, which makes it very hard to stand or sit or walk. I honestly crawled into his room to help him get dressed for Kindergarden. I LOVE this little man with all my heart. Baby was so abused by his birth parents. Now he has another so called "DAD" that has walked out on him.

We honestly need our support that is court ordered, this is for "Lil Man". You might think you can hide, but you are just making things harder on your son and yourself. I do my best to keep him happy. But when my back is so bad... It seems like the litte guy is helping me. This is not right! James, You should be ashamed of yourself. PLEASE send your lil' boy his support.

We are not giving up. YOU make good money, I am unable to work. I have proof. Please stop hurting your son. Also, VIKKI, your 24 year old daughter, called me yesterday crying, because she misses you and wanted to tell you Happy Fathers Day and Happy Birthday on JUNE 20th. YOU are hurting EVERYONE including YOURSELF. We are honestly hurting, and I am stressing about trying to keep a roof over the lil' man's head.

You will not be able to hide much longer. So you need to contact me or the Child Support Enforcement. There is a warrent out for your arrest and YOU WILL BE FOUND. We will NEVER give up. You need help. God Bless All in this situation.

Then I heard he was in, Bunnell Fl. Also been in Ft. Myers. Sounds like a terrible way to live, always on the run and looking over your shoulder. You better keep looking, because I will NOT let you do this to the baby. God Help Us ALL.

The State should punish the employers who help hide these losers. SOMETHING MORE NEEDS TO BE DONE for those who pay cash, so they think their workers can avoid CHILD SUPPORT. I promise I will not stop trying to get the Governor to get something more productive going, so what they lose their license. That is not helping us get our money. I would put him in jail for 3 years... We are not getting money now. Maybe it would make him open his eyes and get clean also! Also, they need to fine the EMPLOYERS HUGE FINES for paying under the table. How would they feel if this was done to their daughters??? Think about! Advocate for the children!
