VERY Cunning! I was interested in trying a free trial of 1months supply of African Mango, i saw the link on FB and thought okay this must be legitimate, i filled out my name, address & mobile, then i clicked cancel and left it. A few days later i got a call on my mobile (31/01) from this company offering me the free trial just needed to pay the shipping, i thought okay i wont be loosing out on much, a few dollars, and i will just cancel before the monthly chargers of $79.95US come out. Was given 19days to do so. They gave me an new zealand 0800 number which i was okay with, and sent me an email with the NZ, AU and US free phone numbers and email address (but NO letter head), i waited 1.5weeks for the product, and it still hasn't arrived, was told 3-5days, i have called the 0800 numerous times and it goes straight to an answer machine that does not even state the company name, NO call back NO reply to my email&NO product, so i have canceled my debit card so they can not take any more of my money!!! I had even called telecom NZ to find out any info but nothing was listed.
I think this is terrible that they have probably scammed so many this way!
Could this sort of thing be taken to disputes tribunal?
Please be very careful what you purchase online, i have learned my lesson.
