I should've shut this deal down when they charged us over $100 more than the quote given over the phone, but it seemed like it would make our move easier, so I went with it.

My fiance and I didn't have a new place when we booked our pod, so we gave an approximate zip code. The person he spoke to pushed him to agree to have our stuff stored at their Queens facility, saying it would be better for us. Not the case.

Now they are holding our things hostage unless we pay them over $1,000 in addition charges because our new apartment, which is about 15 miles away from their storage facility, is not in their range.

As another reviewer wrote, their customer service is a joke. Its clear that this company's main goal is to rob and take advantage of people during what is a very stressful life event. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Don't make the same mistake we did, don't fall for the PODs scam!
