Miscellaneous

Just found out today that I have been taken by this company whom I did a fair amount of due diligence on before sending them my money. Thing is, these people get in and out quick and so nobody had them on their radar till now. My story is the same as others here... Same names, same promises, a very clever and well thought out scam. Shell companies, multiple players and email addresses. They had a very polished product and struck at just the right time... Bastards. It really jades one towards our fellow man and our society in general... Very sad.

I doubt we will ever see any of our money back but I for one am going to take these Scambook folks on their offer to at least try and initiate something to catch these assholes. I highly recommend everyone else here to do the same... There is strength in numbers folks.

I would also highly recommend changing all of your accounts to which they now have information on. I spent the better part of the afternoon closing all accounts which I gave them numbers for. They have it all folks... SS numbers, bank account numbers, everything a legitimate company would need to begin a refinance. They might be done with us or go on to another level... Or they could sell what they have to other parties looking for the next victim.

The old axiom never rang truer for me..."If it sounds too good to be true..." you know the rest. Please get pro-active on this thing. Who knows, there may be a chance to recoup some of the money.
