This person contacted me through craigs list about an item i am selling. She then went on saying that she was going to pay paypal. I told her i preferred cash, but if it was through paypal, the money would have to clear before i allowed pickup of the item. She paid 50 more than i was asking, and added $600,500 for me to send via western union to an address in NY, and 100 to cover the western union charges. The $500 was so her agent could pick up the item. Here are some of her emails.

"$4,150 has been deducted from my account, $3,550 for your item, $500 for the agent and $100 for your western union charges. As per the e-mail paypal sent to me which is also similar to yours, you will
have to pay an upfront payment of $500 out of your pocket via western union office to the address given to you, and you will be
given the information requested which you will e-mail to paypal by replying to the confirmation mail sent from them regarding the details you have from western union... And you will receive the whole amount of $4,150 in your account without any delay, kindly read the mail sent to you very well... Pls advice asap.."

So then i played dumb which was kinda fun, and said i sent the money, but couldn't scan the receipt. She told me to email her the information. So i finally did, and had fun with it.

You should be ashamed of yourself for what you do. There are decent people in this world. You are not one of them. What you are doing is called stealing. You are hurting people. Get a real job.

So please advise, anyone trying to get money western union is a scam. Please don't fall for it!
