I applied for a position and they needed to do a credit check/application. I went to the link, filled out the information and then I got a reply back.

A few days ago you contacted us regarding the employment position you were matched to.
I wanted to give you the courtesy of letting you know that the position have been filled.

I do however have some good news, we have another position that will be opening up in the next 3 weeks that you are perfect for, it's for an office administrator position and the pay is excellent.

I will call you as soon as we are ready to begin interviewing for that position to see if your still available.

Just hold on to the paperwork you printed out, you'll need it when we meet.

When the response didn't address me personally, I got a little concerned and thats when I started checking things out and found out it is a scam.

I'm very scared now as my personal information was listed on that application/credit check.
