Threatened with indictment

Received a phone call from a guy claiming to be from the "US drug enforcement agency" in Washington DC (no such agency exists).informed me that I was going to be indicted for buying diet pills over the internet in 2007.
At this point I said I needed to contact my attorney and could I have his number for my attorney to call him back? He hung up!
From other reports I have seen they usually offer to accept a guilty plea and a fine to make this go away. My guy did not get that far!
