Miscellaneous

On 6th Jan I sent off for the samples advertised at 5.97 and 2.95 respectively from Revita la Peau and Perfect Radiance, and received my beauty products without packing information i.E. No tel no or invoice enclosed. I thought nothing of it. Yesterday my bank (Santander) phoned me regarding another transaction and only then did I realise that this company had taken two amounts out of my account without permission on 1st Feb (£79.99 and 74.95). The bank said they could do nothing about it and that it was up to me to sort it out with the company direct, but where are they! Others who have been scammed have been given a fake tel. No. So where do you start. I have complained to Santander in branch today, they will now take action if I haven't been able to get my money refunded within 30 days (I paid on visa debit card) so I will now take the matter up with Trading Standards and keep my bank account with so little money in it that further efforts at fraud will fail. My debit card has been stopped further inconveniencing me for a while - so others be warned. No more internet shopping with unknown companies for me. Pauline, Berkshire
