I signed up for the website with this company and then within the 30 day period told them I wanted to cancel it. But they kept telling me that I had gone over the 30 days and wouldn't refund the money. I was on the phone with 2 or more different people who worked there trying to get my money back. I had the contract but they wouldn't refund the money. Then later in the year they called me saying that they had a buyer for my domain but it would cost me to sell it and I told them to just take the money they said I had to pay from the sale. They mention thousands of dollars to sell the domain and I told them I just wanted the amount I had invested for the $9000 plus any cost to them. But afterword I tried to call them to find out what happened and I think that is when the company closed down. I will file with the Az Attorney General and FTC Federal Trade Commission but do we really have anyway of getting any of this money back? I signed up for this when I was very sick and wasn't thinking right. What a mess this is. Does anyone out there know if we can't get the money back, can we right this off as a total business loss on our 2011 tax return legally?
At least it would help some.
