Me too, this is def. A scam. 49.95 charge on my card on 12/28. After I purchased Talkadroid "IDeedle" from Google Marketplace. Not sure if there is ANY connection or innocent coincidence, but if others have any similar cases, please post it. I actually got an alert from HSBC, that this is a poss. Fraud, they called me. So I guess they are really aware of these thieves. (and yes, "thieves should be hung").
