Miscellaneous

Auto Land in Manassass, VA told me when I purchased a used vehicle that they had fixed the "Check Engine" light code. I believed them because the light was out, when I got home the car wouldn't start, when my son got it running again the "Check Engine" light was back on. They never fixed the problem and it won't go through inspection, I have sent two full emails and made a dozen phone calls and they totally ignore me. Not only did they lie about the problem saying it was an 02 sensor when in reality it was a shift solenoid A electrical which is $245 I had to pay a local mechanic. The salesman said it wouldn't go through inspection in VA either so they would fix it and said they only look at the engine and transmission, nothing cosmetic that's "as is" which is totally understandable. I have asked for the owner and the owners phone number and they refuse to give it to me. Today they said they will do nothing, per the owner who never even talked to me, and said it must have been something I had done to the car. I now know they have 9 complaints with the BBB and I have contacted the Attorney General's Office in Virginia.
