My husband received a letter dated Jan 13 Referencing ID# PFF095110 RE: Offer To Participate in a Paid Survey as a Customer Service Evaluator
They give you a nice break down of how the process works seems simple enough. Western Union International transfer services and a survey for one of these major retail outlets, Best Buy, K-Mart or WalMart. I like how they highlight *ENCLOSED AN OFFICIAL CHECK THAT PROVIDES YOU THE FUNDS YOU NEED TO EXECUTE YOUR SURVEY* and the emphasis on "You are NOT required to use your own funds to finance any service intended for the purpose of this survey. It even indicates you can keep the merchandise you purchased as an ADDED BONUS for participating and pay attention to every little detail.
Eveything sounded official what got us thinking was we needed to get the computer generated Receiver Name as well as a Destination City & Country from our coordinator. There was no information on who the coordinator was or how to contact. I then looked at the envelope this so called Survey came in and it is post marked from Canada, the Survey itself has a New York Commercial Skyrise building between New York & Manhattan the toll free number does goes to BEBO a site like Facebook & MySpace or India Cell #. Then you have 48hrs to complete the Survey and contact 416-893-2611 which is an Toronto, Ontario Canada. It did not add up to me, I looked up the Finance Center Federal Credit Union it is a legitamate Credit Union in the State of Indiana.

We are so glad we did not proceed with this if not we would be worse off no money and with a criminal record of check fraud. At this point we have not acted on anything question is who do we contact or report this to. The Bank, Cops, BBB, the News stations??? We have not lost any monitary value as some have. I am just glad at this point I research it a bit further than just depositing the check.
