Miscellaneous

I received a dialogue window on my desktop stating that i needed to upgrade my antivirus. I thought that it was a routine annual upgrade, as the software that came up was identical to what i had before. The software that came up on my desktop was called win 7 antivirus 2012. All of a sudden my laptop started coming up with warning messages, telling me to buy the antivirus or risk irreversible damage to the laptop. Win 7 antivirus 2012 wouldn't let me close anything.in effect, it had taken over my laptop. I thought an actual virus had affected my laptop, so i processed a payment of $89.90
