Miscellaneous

A few months ago a man named Max called and said that I had (red) errors and (yellow) warning notifications in my registry from (bonjour) and other companies and that they are a huge risk to my computer. He said even though you have Mcafee and Anti-malware software on my computer you are at risk of a fatal Error or a computer crash. He said he was going to have to use the (Green) AAMMYY software program to clean my computer registryand they would keep checking and cleaning it for 6years. The cost for each computer is 107.00 plus tax. I was a fool... I believed him and I agreed to pay for both mine and my husband's computers to be "cleared of these high risk windows problems". He had problems getting payment threw my credit card companies (Probably because they have been blocked as a fraudulant company) and ended up using Pay Pal Bill me later (all arranged by him). When I later explained to Pay Pal it was a scam and that they hadn't done anything for me or my husband. Pal Pal still made me pay my balance and said if you weren't given the service that you paid for then you would have to take that up with the Web Tech international company. What a joke that is because they give you no 1- 800 number to reach them so your just left burnt and ticked off. A word to the wise... They may have started using several new company names! Just today some guy named Max who sounded like the same guy called and tried to get me to do the same thing under a new name! Just say NO!!
