I responded to a receptionist position and was also asked to provide my SS# via email (claiming that they need this before they can set up an interview). Of course I did not provide. They cited the "Patriot Act", which is legit, however, NO ONE SHOULD ASK YOU FOR PERSONAL INFORMATION BEFORE THEY EVEN INTERVIEW YOU! Big scam - beware
