Miscellaneous

I bought a new computer for Christmas from Staples and when I got it connected the an antivirus notice came up and I could not get rid of the notice it showed a McAfee sale for the antivirus. I thought the new computer was infected, continuous attempts to activate my McAfee account to detect any issue but could not, this pop up would not go away it kept coming back even when I attempted to go to McAffee so thinking it was McAffee and the deal looked good for "lifetime" membership I paid. When the Credit card statement came with this account and not McAffee this raised my suspicion. I immediately contacted my credit card to stop payment - and reported this as a fraudulant charge.
