I was contacted by this company offering me a loan of 1000.00 i was desperate for money so accepted. Was told i had to pay 95.78 into a halifax bank account as they were not allowed to take the payment over the phone. And that this payment was a good will first payment whilst i was waiting for paperwork to come through.
I made the payment but paid 96.00 to round the figure up
and was told this was fine. I waited all day being told the money would be transferred 15-20 mins. I had someone phone me telling me that i had to pay another 140 in tax to release the loan. On contacting loan line they said that the person did not exist and that they were someone phoning to try and get more money. Apptly my account was deactivated for security reasons and the money would go in later that day, i continued to phone and was told yes the money would be in my account between 4-4.30. I received a phone call from the accounts manager christina davies at 4.45pm saying i could not have the loan as i paid 96.00 not 95.78. After a huge debate was told i was not getting the money back or the loan unles i paid another 95.78. During the day i received a txt from natwest bank saying the loan had been approved apptly this was where the money was coming from. After spkng to natwest there was no txt sent by them and they dont associated themselves with other loan companies and that the loan didnt exist. I have tried finding the so called web site but there isnt one that i can find. I do have the contact number and bank account that i paid the money into. I realize this was a stupid thing todo but i needed to pay so many bills.
This has left me with very little money.
