Miscellaneous

My computer froze up and the only thing I could get was a page that claimed it was from Norton Security and that it had detected a virus infecting my system and caused everything to be blocked. I was told that the only way to remedy this was to purchase a Virus Security sweep for $79.95 and allow Norton to clean out the problem. I had no choice but to comply because I could not get access to anything else. After I paid and the, so called, Security Sweep did not occur, and everything was still frozen, I knew that I had been scammed.
I called Comcast, my ISP, and they confirmed the scam as a virus and set about to rid me of it. They remotely entered my computer and removed the infection without cost to me. Now I must fight with Master Card to refund the $79.95.
Any ideas on how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated.
