I just checked my bank account yesterday and found that 109.00 was taken by emerald lux, and I was not aware of any recurring fee when I took dis-advantage of the free starter kit like Jane. About three weeks ago I stumbled on to the advertisement for the free starter kit from emerald lux and all I had to do was pay for the shiping and handling. I though sure that is great, I did not see any kind of statements or "Warnings, " saying I must read a policy and agree to any terms. Regardless the purchase should not have gone through without, "clicking, " on the link and, "scrolling, " through the document. When I received the kit it did not even work becasue, what they said when I called them, was the battery charger and so they sent me another charger with battery. Now the replacement charger and battery they sent me will not connect to the filter tips for having the wrong connectors, and about that time my warranty was expired the day after I called them and complained about the replacement battery. I never heard from them again, but I remember I did receive a call one day right before they charged my account and a couple days after the warranty expired I remember receiving a call and when I answered there was no one on the other end only hold music and the music sounded like the music, which they have as their hold tune. Then I thought, well they are just trying to cover their own behinds buy placing the call. Right after that I noticed the money missing. I did not sweat the shipping fee I figured it was only five dollars and I got a kit that I cannot even use but the five did not matter. Now, all this and they overdrew my checking account and drained all my money. FCC should have laws against these types of sheisters taking advantage like this and laws against people not making policies like this a mandatory, "click and scroll, " or otherwise default the purchase. When I went back to search for elux's site the other day for a phone number to give them @#$%^&* which I did. I clicked on their policy link, which is a completely separate link aside from their web page and located on the search engine page, not on their page. I called them all kinds of sons of #@%^&* (litterally when I called and it felt good!
