Miscellaneous

I had a phone call from this supposed company saying they would fix the viruses on my computer for the period of the next 8 years through windows. They asked me to go on line and have a look at the infections I had. They then asked me for my credit card details so they could start immediately to give me security on my computer.
I asked how did I know if they were legitimate and got some very convincing speel about their company. I foolishly gave them my credit card details. After thinking about this for sometime I became suspicious and rang my bank to cancel my credit card but the transaction was already in progress.
