Fred's
Ripoff did not receive pay for 11 hours of work

I worked at a store called Fred's for about six months. I was called in to work on my day off to fill in for someone, and when I received my check the following week, I realized that it was short six hours, the amount of time I worked to fill in for someone else.

The manager said she would take care of the problem on my next check and not to worry about it, but the next day she was fired. When I went to get my check that week, not only was my check short the 6 hours from the week before, it was short 5 hours for that week also, making a total of 11 hours they owed me.

I quit working for fred's immediately and asked the new manager to make sure I got my money. He was then very rude and cussed at me to stay out of his store. It has been a year now and they still won't give me my money!!! If anyone has been in a similar situation please let me know. I have let all of my family and friends know that they should not shop there until I get my proper pay, I would appreciate it if anyone reading this who lives near a Fred's store would not go there.
