Miscellaneous

Paid for sample of product which was advertised at £2.95 and £2.97 and had an eye cream added for free. 12 days later they took out £197.18 from my account. I contacted the bank only to be told this scam is widespread. What i actually paid for was the postage for these three items. I was told i had agreed to the terms and conditions of the sale which upon checking is in the terms and conditions that if the order was not returned within 12 days they would carry on taking £197.18 every month untill i contact them and cancelled this order and that they would keep on sending me their product. The bank has told me they have not done anything illegal but the bank has contacted them to stop them taking anymore funds from my account but they have all my card details and as i authorised a payment in responce to their advert for a free trial of their three products. I was completly misled by this company who sounded so genuine. I am so upset as i cannot get my money back and i have truly been scammed.
