Saw an ad on facebook for face cream sample, I ordered a sample costing 0.95p the amount to be taken from my debit card. I received the sample a couple of weeks later, in November. I went into the bank to get a statement and there was a payment of £74.95 taken out by Radiant Skin Care. This made me overdrawn because I was in the process of closing down the account because I am unemployed. I reported this to the fraud dept at Santander and filled out the appropriate forms. I phone a couple of weeks later and they advised me to change my card, which I did. I went into the bank again and checked the account and on the 9 December I could see that another £74.95 had been taken. I reported this again to the bank who sent me the forms again -I filled them out again. I received a tube of the cream on the 20th December and luckily there was paperwork in with it, I wrote them a letter straightaway but have not yet received a reply. Santander have told me that they will not be refunding any money to me. My account is getting more and more overdrawn due to bank charges, I cannot close the account because I can't pay off the amount and there is no way I can stop the company if they wish to take more money from the account.
