I was going through financial hardship and my mortgage was so high for me to make the pay.
This company (US NATIONAL LEGAL SOLUTIONS) called me on the phone and offered me their services that they can get my loan modified and gave me all type of promises that within 3months my mortgage will be modified for a refundable fee of $2900 (if service not delivered in 3months).
I went ahead and struggled to pay the $2900, which really affected me in my monthly payment that eventually affected my credit score drastically up till now.
The worst issue was that I kept receiving promises from this company that they are working on case even after 7months (they warned me not to ever call or have a discussion with bank of America, so for all this month I don't pick calls from Bank of America) until I received a call one day from Bank of America, that my last modification was denied and that they may proceed take over the house if I don't make my 3months payment, that was when I was directed to their modification dept and I had to start again from the first stage and worked directly with the bank for 5weeks before I was now granted the modification.
Even after I was given the modification this so called company was not aware of that.
Please I am pleading that they refund me my complete money for now, I am not currently planning to press for damages to my credit score, but for someone to stop this people from taking advantage of poor citizens like me.
