Received e-mail saying that I had won the UK International Lottery. Was asked for information to verify my identiy. Luckly they didn't ask for my bank account number or my SS#. They did ask for a copy of my passport which had expired years ago. Then I was asked to send $400 to the Bid Vest Bank to set up a not-resident bank account into which they would deposit the $813,000 I had won and then would issue an ATM card and send it to me so that I could access my winnings. But, I had to send them $1246 for the courier charges and the insurance to cover the card. This started with the first e-mail that I received 11/22 and has continued on with the latest being that I was asked to send another $1700 so that the consultant, Lisa Breckman, who had supposedly made a trip to South Africa to get my ATM card, could, personally, send the card to me. She assured me that she would refund the money I had sent the bank to me when Ms. Jane Mark returned to the bank from leave. Boy, do I feel like a fool for falling for this to the tune of a total of $1646. (If I had an e-mail address I would scan my moneygram receipts and send them)
