In September-October I sent money abroad, Africa, Via Western Union. Some of the money "went missing". After reporting to the company, I gave more information and the appropriate forms, regarding the money I had sent as the company officials requested. After the company's own investigation, I was informed I was Victim of Fraud and qualified for Compensation. After having my personal details, A Western Union Official sent me a Certificate, Confirming The Right To Compensation. The Process of sorting out the Compensation money started. Over a period 10 months, I paid £20-25,000 pounds for what I was told were charges for processing the Compensation money. Beginning of October The Western Union Official, who was dealing with my case, informed me he was finalising the process of transferring
the Compensation money into my account. 3weeks later, I had to contact Western Union Head Quarters in London as I had not heard from from the official. I had no response from the Head Quaters. However, the official contacted me.informed me he had not been well. Was back to work and would contact me in1-2 days to inform me of the date the money would be in my account. Another month passed. Nothing happened. I contaed The Head Qaurters 3 weeks ago. No response up to today.
