GNC offers a "gold card" which is advertising as providing 20% discount on entire first order and thereafter on anything ordered during first 7 days of each month. When you look at the web page describing the gold card program it provides a list of items that do not qualify for gold card discounts. Nowhere on that list was the GNC Superfood Complex for dogs. I ordered the card first because when I added the card to my order it did not show a discount. So thinking I needed to have the card number first - I simply ordered the card. They charged me $3.85 shipping for a card they apparently mail out rather than providing a membership number on line. I called the company and asked about the discount and which point I was told that if a product was eligible for the gold card discount it would say so on the product page. Of course this is not what the advertising states for the card. They did agree to cancel the card for me - but beware - you could be paying $15 (plus $3.85 for shipping - give me a break) - for nothing.
