Was checking balance on checking acct. There is a charge for $254.60 with a check number not in my realm of numbers. It had the initials only and an 800 number. I called the number. It has been disabled. I did not buy anything and I was out of town/state on the date it was taken out. I had been out of town for 2 weeks at that point. I did not have a computer. I googled the name. It came back to some Real Estate finance Assoc out of NY. I do not live in NY nor do I want to. But I am also a Senior with limited income sources and I am not looking at real estate. I would never pay any kind of membership for this amount. There is an account number on the back of the fake check but you can't read the name of the bank. I will be filing fraud charges with my bank as soon as it opens. I had money transferred to me from my son and my daughter and I have to inform them so they can check their accts now. That would have been the only way they could have gotten my checking acct tracking and acct numbers. I want my money back, period.
