McDonald Vending $3750 downpayment on machines never delivered

On August 30, a $3750 wire transfer was completed from my bank to David McDonald as a down payment on multiple machines. The bank officer contacted Mr. McDonald prior to the wire for confirmation on the delivery of the machines. David was very detailed about how the money order could not have his name or "McDonald Vending" on the wire. It was addressed to Rachel McDonald. Machines were not delivered and many excuses were generated from Mr. McDonald and at times he assassinated my character for wasting his time. He stated that the $3750 would be refunded in full by December 25 with interest paid. ("I want to make this right with you and your family before Christmas.") So far, I have received nothing. Please feel free to contact me if anything can be done to stop this from happening to others.
