Via the web site on November 11, I ordered a vin report on a vehicle I just purchased at a cost of $ 2.95. Received no report but just a scam statement indicating it was not available.

Two days later, November 13, with no additional contact from me, requesting nothing, ordering nothing, a charge for $ 29.95 appeared on my credit card statement. Called to get my money back and the agent said I had registered with the company, (Which I had not), and would have had to cancel within 3 days, but, of course, the credit card statement was received about 15 days later. He indicated this would be a monthly charge.

I registered a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Utah and the Utah consumer protection office about this Utah company.

The agent refused to give me a mailing address, did not allow me to speak with a supervisor, nor tell where he was located.

A real scam outfit!!
