Have not paid the above amount-was told if I don't pay it, my boss' credit will be ruined for the next 7 yrs. I work at a hospital and we are on the web so we don't need a yellow directory ad. This company called & said my boss told them she no longer wants the listing (a lie) and they would send out an invoice (they never did) They asked a series of question that I answered yes to, then edited it and replayed it for me and made it seem like I agreed to pay $600. It is extortion. I called CC Recovery, spoke to a very nasty woman, who told me I have until 12/24 to pay $823. I want to know, can they really ruin someone's credit?
