I did not fall for the scam but became curious and pulled it up on line. I discovered it was a scam and thought it would help to get these people. The check has Bank of America in the middle of the check. The Check # 0003647614. The claim #KDF5418. The Representative is Montel Ariza. Tel # 1-778-323-6788, Fax 1-847-223-4545. Also, at the bottom of letter is: Zellers, Kmart, Macy's, Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Sears and BBB.
