I too received a check for $948.98 in the mail today. Saying I was awarded a $10,000 grant from Webster Enterprises. I couldn't believe my eyes, everything looked legitimate but I couldn't help but think there was something hinky about this check. I was to deposit the check in my account and purchase a GreenDot card and load 5% of the total amount of the grant which was $500 and fax the information to 2 location because they were in the process of changing offices. Before I get impulsive as we all do when something good happens us, I hesitated; took my family out to dinner with some light shopping... Being the holidays and all. As soon as we returned home, I googled every detail on the check and found this message board... THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME THE MONEY AND TROUBLE of falling for a "Too Good To Be True" SCAM.
