On Nov. 28th I recieved a letter that I had won $250,000 dollars and I would recieve my winnings as soon as my "clearance fee" had been paid. I took my letter to my local bank and they told me it was a scam. It was a huge emotional let down, however, I am glad I checked into it before sending any money. All I have lost is a few dollars in gas money and a good nights sleep.
